Carpets by We Make Carpets
The first carpet by We Make Carpets was made for the exhibit 'instant nature' on the Dutch Design week in 2009. The carpet led to a new project: We Make Carpets. They concentrate on new use of everyday material, with that they make temporary carpets.

The Bubble Project
Print 15.000 stickers that look like speech bubbles, post them on existing adds and posters, this is what happens… Ji Lee, designer and creative director at the Google Creative lab, did exactly this and plastered them all over New York. He called it; the Bubble Project. In the bubble anyone could write down their thoughts or comments. Since then the project went global and the bubbles can be found in cities like Amsterdam, London, Milan, Skopje and Paris as well.

The project is a protest against the take over of huge corporations of 'public' space. It's impossible to walk down a street without being confronted with a message whether you want to or not. The project is a way to take back the streets and changes the monologues into open public dialogues. There is no censorship. As the manifesto says: 'More bubbles mean more freed spaces, more sharing of personal thoughts, more reactions to current events, and most importantly, more imagination and fun.'
